Organic Cottons Wardrobe Challenge, Report 1

Oh I feel so bad about all the remnants of yarn from a project. I neatly wind them up with the ball band, seal them in plastic bags, and put them in a hamper.

Yes, I promise myself, SOMEDAY I'm going to use that yarn!

But the problem is...I am a WARDROBE KNITTER.  I do not make washcloths or baby things. I do not make scarves or socks.  Nothing little. And so...my hamper is heavy with all the little balls of yarn.

This summer, I am ready for my first Wardrobe Challenge! I happen to love Sublime Yarns Organic Cotton DK, and have several colors of it.  I've knit a few items already, so there are remnants.  And I have a few project-quantities of new colors.  Perfect!

Here's a pyramid of some of them.  Needles up and ready to dive in!

Start Talking

I've never blogged before. So, that's how everyone starts, nothing fancy or amazing. I'm neither seeking fame, nor venting a psychological issue.  But I have a few minutes to spare, and I have a passionate hobby...KNITTING!

I am a Wardrobe Knitter.  I knit garments, and ideally those garments will be fabulously wearable and work with other things already in my wardrobe.  I love color and design, things artistic. And so...I'm not knitting sweaters that will all work with black.

I'll bet I'm not alone in my passion and goal of knitting a fabulous wardrobe.  So, let's share!  I'm hoping to start a Group on Ravelry with this very topic, as that is such a perfect place to link ideas and start interactive topics.  If that happens, I'm posting it here!

Thanks...I'll get the hang of this, hopefully find an entertaining dialog style (to entertain myself of course).
